Hey, Coastal Bend book lovers! The 7th Annual Teen Bookfest by the Bay is returning to our shores on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and will be hosted at the American Bank Center in downtown Corpus Christi.
You can find us, The Traveling Library CCTX, at our booth sharing information on what we do and how you can get involved in helping boost literacy in our region.
"I'm excited to be part of this year's Teen BookFest as I was a frequent goer as a teen! It's a unique experience where you can ask some of your favorite authors questions about the process of writing their books and their inspirations," said Abigail Trevino, founder and executive director of The Traveling Library CCTX. "Now, I'm excited to attend as an adult with The Traveling Library and help encourage literacy in the Coastal Bend!"
Other things to look forward to include author panels, writing workshops, book vendors, manga sessions, and more!
